i dont normally do a food review on my blog.. but tis particular one is really worth mentioning.. my family and i went to this japanese fine dining restaurant over the weekends..
i would highly recommend rakuzen if u wanna enjoy some good food, good ambience and most importantly EXCELLENT service.. the restaurant is situated at millenia walk.. if u havent been there before, its definitely gonna be worth the trip.. trust me! its really UP UP UP STANDARD :D best thing of it all is that u dont need to pay astronomical figure to enjoy all that.. it comes with a reasonable price tag!
to be honest, i was wowed by the standard of service provided myself.. how many times have u paid the 10% service charge willingly? i think its fair to say that the only svcs provided by most if not all restaurants are probably just taking of orders n bringing the food to u.. of cos in rakuzen, the staff do that too.. but they are much more friendly n polite..
customers are really treated with respect there.. the staff squat down such that they are positioned lower than you when they take ur order.. they give u more than u ask for.. i havent seen this kind of service in spore for a long long time.. my family all agreed that this is one restaurant whereby you feel they really deserved the 10% svc charge.. haha anyway seeing is believing, so go try it for urself and u will know im not exaggerating :P
our appetizer.. my fave chawanmushi! inside got alot of ingredients like scallop, prawn, mushroom, chicken one.. yummmms
must try their fried oysters if u go there.. one word - SHIOK :D
fried ebi maki with fish roes.. taste very good too :)
those who know me well knows that i dont usually eat alot.. but i think i ate the most that day.. claypot seafood udon with sushi set.. tell me who wouldnt salivate when he/she see smth as appealing as this :p
my mummy's unagi rice set..
my brother had this teppanyaki beef rice set with sashimi.. i like the garlic fried rice.. its so fragant tt even ppl like me who dont rice cant help but eat a few spoonful.. haha
at the end of the day, i had a very sumptuous meal which appealed to both my sight as well as taste.. i left a happy customer and would definitely wanna go back again sometime soon.. thats of cos if im not paying for it :p
lol i know i sound like some ambassadors for rakuzen.. make no mistake, as much as i wished tt was true (at least i can eat there free for life) but i have no affiliations to them whatsoever.. do tag me if u have got a different opinion on this although i doubt there will be..
Let love be the one to knock at ur door ♥♥♥
♥♥♥ True love is worth waiting for
