as promised.. here is the photo collage of the ma la huo guo outing with my best uni mates.. more food hunting next time alright guys?

31st may 09 sunday
met up with my poly girls for a crazy day/night out.. been a while since i last saw them.. spent like a quarter of my june's allowance.. and its bad because there are a few bdays coming up.. gotta watch my budget now.. but have to admit i did have fun especially at alps!

lunch was at rendezvous hotel straits cafe.. it was buffet style and it cost a bomb.. if anyone shouldnt go to buffets, its me cos i always nv eat enough to make it worth the money.. oh well but the dessert section did amaze me.. i love the durian especially.. we all did actually.. jl even got the waiter to refill it even though theres only like 10 more mins before the buffet ends.. hahaha

what an untimely timing big chefs

and like i said, it has been almost a year since we last saw each other.. time has definitely changed us but our friendship has only become stronger.. and yes we are all sitting in the same position.. isnt it cool? its not prearranged.. i swear its coincidental! freaky isnt it? lol

anyways after lunch, ruiting left and the rest of us decided to catch the movie "night at the museum 2".. went to ps to do some shopping b4 that.. movie was good.. ben stiller and owen wilson was funny.. but i think the monkey ruled the film like it did in the first sequel.. i would recommend u watch it if u havent already done so :D

went alps for dinner as well as to chill after movies.. shiling was the one who brought us there.. i think its a cool place.. a new hidout that i shld bring my jms someday.. the whole place is divided into 3 sections.. the inner one is mostly for dinner and some ktv session.. the middle is a bar counter with some high table and chairs, dartboards and tv.. customers could dance to the club music or watch a soccer game there.. the outermost corner is quieter.. people could talk over a couple of drinks there.. pretty cool huh? it caters to almost everyone! ohhh and the gd news is that its free entry and food and drinks there are priced pretty reasonably..

the food was definitely good too.. theres teriyaki chicken, fish and chips and grilled chicken..
