last friday was freshman welcome day. there were 2 sessions, 1 in the morning which started at 845am for all freshman and 1 in the afternoon which started at 130pm for hss. i went because my og torco had agreed to go together. i took a lift from my bro and i reached sch super early, 645am. just sat on a bench and played with my ds while waiting for freaking long 2 hrs to pass. zzzzz

in the morning, we were introduced to all the big shots; deans & profs of all the different schs. there were goodie bags for everyone. things that can be found inside includes a jacket, an organiser, a water bottle, a torchlight and 2 bottles of triple choc milk. all souvenirs except for the drinks come with sch logos. during the morning session, we had to wear the convocation gown like thing (only difference is that ours are blue without any color stripes) and recite the school code of honor aloud together. its like a swearing / pledging ceremony.

there were lunch buffet reception which we gladly helped ourselves to after the talk. den i went to collect my keys frm the hall office. i was damn duah pai cos the whole torco followed me. haha. after viewing my room, we all proceeded to hall 6 so that my og mate kaiyan can collect her keys too. i like her room better because its very windy and the furnitures are newer.

after which, we went back to the auditorium for the second session. actually the talks are damn redundant. many ppl (especially those who came frm hall camp and are seriously in need of slp) were dozing off half the time. everyone was there for one reason: the collection of matriculation cards which we only got them at the very end of the day. buffet tea reception after the entire talk. i think it was better than the lunch cos they have got my fave brownies! haha i think the sch is damn rich cos we always have buffets! but the sch is also quite wasteful as there were many leftovers. they even asked us to pack some home. i gladly oblige and went on to da bao some brownies. hehe home sweet home after a satisfying teabreak (early dinner perhaps bcos it was already 5pm then)


FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY...

Yesterday, I've shifted most of my stuff into my hostel thanks to my uncle who has got a lorry. if not for him, i dont know how im gonna transport all my barang barang and my minibar fridge frm my hse (home) to my hostel (2nd home). my parents went with me and im glad they did because they did all the dirty work (cleaning, moping and wiping) for me. thank god i just have to unpack my own stuff which is alot of work also. lol but at least its clean! havent really arrange the stuff properly. will do it again when i officially move in which is like next week. i havent seen my roomie yet. hopefully she's a nice person. PLS PLS dont give me ah tiongs. i dont know why but everyone seems to be hating that idea. im just following suit. muahahha

SCH'S STARTING TMR!!! that kind of feeling seems so familiar yet so strange. mine is a 3 day week for the time being. hopefully when i add in my electives, i will still be able to have at least 1 day free. afterall its only yr 1 sem 1. y be so hard on myself when its just the honeymoon period and im supposed to enjoy. lol oh and im very lucky because 2 of my og mates who are in the same course are in the same tut class as me too! somehow sch seems less frightening now that i know i have frens in my class. yeah ;)))

busy week ahead. went to collect passport with my mum today. my elder brother is bringing her to japan this coming dec! im like super jealous can. oh whatever. haha registration for electives starts tmr so i gotta take care of all the admin stuff after my 1st lect! meeting up poly mates for dinner on wednesday. i last saw them on my 21st bday so its abt time we catch up with each other too. and on fri, i'll be meeting my 211 gals for some retail therapy as well as some girls talk. been ages since we do that together. i missed them. saturday is reserved for my grandma. she's been complaining that she hasnt seen me for a month. haha so i decided to visit her this sat.

okok last but not least, anyone wanna crash my hall?! haha u know we can have some fun (clubbing or pubbing related activites) together and then stayover in my room for the night. hehehe. call me! ;))))
