i took a temporary assignment thru my ex colleague veron. her company has got a booth at the COMEX 2008 which started yesterday to this sunday. her company pioneer needed 4 leaflet distributors so i got my brother to go with me too. although the working hrs is frm 12pm to 9pm, its $60 per day with lunch and dinner provided. i took the job cos it sounds like easy money with good benefits.

today was my first day at work. it wasnt entirely easy like i thought. its physically tiring as i basically stood the whole day. the total time i sat down during meals and toilet break is only abt half an hr. also, i got to meet all kinds of people today. some really nice ones, some weird ones and some who really pisses me off. the nice people happen to be those who are working as leaflet distributors too. perhaps they know the "pain" of the job, so they are all very kind and helpful.

lol actually we are sort of doing each other a favor. what we do is to exchg leaflets and then dispose them into the bin. its very wasteful i know but that way, we finished the job faster. some of them really take one whole stack from you, while others walk a few rounds to collect a few pcs each time.

what the weirdos do is to take the leaflet from u but within secs they will turn ard and give u back again. after dinner, i was giving out 2 at one go. then theres this guy who took and turned ard to tell me that i gave him double. LMAO what's he trying to show here man? that he's honest? kns lo. its not as if its money or what wad. the worst are people who act as if i was transparent. there i was shoving them with leaflets, but they can pretend to look at some other direction or just talk to their friends. i was freaking pissed off la. i mean if u dont wan, the least u can do is to signal using ur hand or maybe shake ur head or just smile. i can only conclude that this bunch of ppl simply have no manners.

both my feet has got blisters now bcos of that stupid shoe. my legs and shoulders are sore and aching. damn it. i dunno whether i can survive tmr nt. but all these physical pain are nothing when compared to my mental worry. tutorials for next week not done! hw101 assignment 20% due next thurs not done! french test next next week!
