wow its been a really long time since i last blogged

not that nothing has happened over the past 2 months or so but rather i was getting sick of having to blog. well, everybody needs a break from all things every now and then. i had mine so now im back once again =D

had a class outing last tuesday 24/06/08. this time round i singlehandedly organize it because eileen is simply too preoccupied with her superband commitments. im very proud of myself as the outing turns out to be quite a success judging from the turnout rates. lol only people missing out are jon and azri.

actually the main purpose of that gathering is to meet up with weiming before he leaves for new york to study. its sort of a farewell for him as it will be 4 freaking long years before we will see him again. probably by then, he will return to singapore with a blonde chick he call his fiancee. LOL anyway i totally enjoyed myself during the gathering and i only reached home at almost 4am in the morning after supper at jalan kayu!

as of writing, weiming is already in new york.

28th June 2008 - Saturday

mummy went sim lim sq with me in the afternoon. i finally got my nintendo ds lite PINK after much consideration. it cost me freaking $300 after mins of intense bargaining by my mummy. anyway i kind of regretted buying after that. cos when i asked abt the price, the guy told me it cost $225 for the package which includes 2gb card with games and r4 adaptor. its only after i said i wanted one that he told me i have to pay for the charger, the modification fees and the 7% GST! i felt cheated in a way but oh well ... its gonna accompany me during my long and boring journey rides from now on

29th June 2008 - Sunday

met up with nona in the morning at kb because she wanted to cut her fringe at the neighborhood salon that i always frequent. so we went to cut together before meeting liting at marina sq. lunch was at waraku. nona chose that because she wanted japanese food. and since she's the birthday star for that day, she has the final say. she got an espirit bag she wanted as her bday pressie =D

i had an interesting encounter in waraku. met a cute waiter there who wanted to befriend me. he smsed nona after we left. u muz be wondering why he got her no. well, when we asked for the bill, he handed me a customer feedback form which requires particulars. nona was the one who filled in that form. so nona and ting were so excited they keep asking him qns. u shld have seen their faces when he told us how old he was. he's 87 baby which means 1yr younger. they stopped replying him after that. LOL he said he will give me free ice cream on my next visit. we shall see if he still rmbs that.

30th June 2008 - Monday

got a sms from eileen at the very last min saying she got a few extra tics to superband live recording last night. so i went on to ask some s211-ians to see who's free and interested to go. in the end, only xiuqin, alex and me could make it. we reached there very early like 640pm cos leen say audience are supposed to b seated at 630pm which actually is not true. its free seating in the studio which means if leen's family go early, they can book the seats for us. so as long as we got in there before 8, its fine.

its my first time to mediacorp and its a really refreshing experience for me. i mean its cool to see how a live recording works behind the cam. something totally different from wat u see on the tv! thanks leen for giving me that chance and congratulations for progressing to the next round! must jia you wor =D


after the recording, we went to bedok 85 for dinner and its home sweet home! next week, F.I.R will be making a special appearance in SB. hopefully, leen got tics for us to go! haha

this week and next week seemed busy for me. going shopping with my ever beautiful cousin in-law, jo tomorrow. cy is accompanying me to sch for medical checkup on thurs (provided my menses havent come by then) and im finally going to rebond my hair on fri. jo is doing it for me at a special price. lol and sometime next week, its off to jb for movies and shopping with s211 ppl. den im off for my 1 week camp. till then, stay happy people =]
