The Sichuan Earthquake (四川大地震) measured at 8.0M hit Sichuan, a province of China on 12 May 2008. This horrendous quake caused 68,109 known deaths; 19,851 people were listed as missing; and 364,552 were injured. The earthquake left at least 5 million people without housing. Figures are likely to increase as im writing.
Many people's hearts go out to the victims. Charity shows are aired in different countries for one common aim - to raise donations to help them in anyway we can. Would like to show the following poems written by people to honor the little angels and noble mothers who died in the disaster.
这是一组令人心碎的诗，地震后通过网络和短信流传，在各种赈灾义演上朗诵，读者哽咽，听者落泪。面对突然消逝的小生命，普通语言已不能表达心中的悲痛，只有诗歌或许才能引起共鸣。

也许是它一时糊涂
才伤害了这么多无辜

never have i been touched to tears like that before. reading each line brings tears to my eyes. everytime i read, i cry. sometimes i feel that we should all learn to count our blessings. there are people out there fighting for their lives while people here are fighting among themselves over trival matters. its really silly. cherish your life and do something more meaningful with it.
