last weekend had been a great one. went to the IT fair at suntec city on saturday afternoon with celine. the crowd was overwhelming. the overhead bridge that links city hall and suntec city was so packed that i regretted my choice even before i stepped in!

true enough, if u think its crowded outside, its even worse inside! well, i just got a new laptop and a camera during the previous COMEX IT fair in december which is like less than 3 mths ago. so it makes no sense to join in the crowd when there's no intention to get any of the gadgets there. but i was there with the intention of getting a mouse. right, go ahead and laugh. i find it dumb and laughable myself. LOL

we didnt stay there for too long. got what i was looking for and we were on our way to raffles city. went to J.Co donuts & coffee for the first time. poor donut factory, supposedly the original donut shop that made heads turned with the super duper long queues has got little patrons in comparison to J.Co. guess its typical singaporeans' behaviour as we always go for novelty.

celine bought one dozen of donuts while i got half a dozen myself. as we were about to leave, we spotted a place so we decided to rest our feet and have a drink in the cafe. for those who dont already know, the cafe gives out free plain donuts. haha we got 4 complimentry sugar glazed donuts with purchase of 2 drinks! as i was supposed to meet my girls for dinner at town, i decided it wasnt a wise choice to bring the donuts with me. so celine took them home instead.

town was as rowdy as ever especially on weekends. i never like going there but since my girls wanted, i just follow suit. after having dinner at our fave japanese restaurant at cineleisure, we shopped around the area. its been a while since i last saw them so its really nice to just catch up a bit. yeah and we took quite some pictures in the toilet AGAIN. haha but it wasnt taken by my camera so i cant upload any here.

i had a scary experience while walking home that day! it was almost 2am when i reached home. thats because we had a long chat at the mrt station before we parted ways. the streets here are dark and quiet. met some weird people lingering around the neighbourhood on my way. some drivers tried to tease me when they drove past! its so annoying! thank god i didnt have to walk all the way home and take the lift by myself. my tension eased when i met my younger bro at the traffic light.

had a date with nera clique (angel, jiayan, benson, rijun) on sunday. supposed to meet in town again (cant help but wonder whats so appealing about town) but i suggested bugis anyway. the 4 cute male leads of romantic princess will be making an appearance there.

its actually one stone kills two birds. i didnt wanna miss seeing any party. i got to make a new friend RiJun, a friend of benson who worked in nera after i left the company. well, i think he's a quiet but nice chap. but i have yet to meet charlton, friend of benson who also worked at nera after my era.

benson had a wedding dinner that night so we went off at 7pm! i walked to suntec to look for my family for dinner. my bro wanted to take a look at the IT fair. he initially wanted to get new com or some internal com hardware but he realised the pricing doesnt really differ too much from sim lim sq so he just got memory cards and thumbdrive in the end.

i only get to have my dinner at about 10pm! went to my bro's fave japanese restaurant, waraku for dinner. YUMSS

this SUPER DUPER BIG bowl is MINE! LOL it scared the hell out of me because when its served covered with lid. thank god it wasnt as big as i thought it was. only the bowl was. haha its actually some hot cream based ebi udon

this tray of ebi sushi is damn nice i tell u. not only does it appeal to your sight, it appeals to your taste too! one can never get enough of it. at least i cant! im still craving for more as im writing!

yeah so like i said, my weekend was busy and tiring but it was pure joy nevertheless! and i slept at freaking 5am on sunday night! chatting with that someone makes my tiredness and sleepiness fades away somehow. i really enjoyed it ;))))

this week is gonna be a hectic one too. not sure whether thats the right word to use though. lol having fun aint supposed to be hectic! haha. need to shop for present tomorrow, movie marathon with celine on thurs, nera movie screening on friday (was asked to join the company event, lol im honoured) and attending chaoyan's bdae party on sat!
