this was wat i ate.. theres two pcs of octopus, achar, tempura fish fillet, 2 jellies n rice.. left alot of rice untouched.. chose to eat the green jelly instead of the purple one cos green is the apple flavor.. muahahaha.. yummy!
at abt 130pm, gt one girl who works there came in n asked if we wanted to take a picture.. she said if we pay $6 more, we could extend the time by 1 more hr plus we could take a polaroid.. we thot it was ok to pay $1.50 more in exchg for one more hr of singing.. so we extended lor..

one last shot in kbox toilet b4 we proceeded to our next destination for e day.. say cheese sistas! =D
under the hot scorching sun, we walked across the rd to the settlers cafe.. i haf heard alot abt this cafe but haf nv been there b4.. basically ppl pay money to stay in an air conditioned area n play board games.. the games available there r games tt we dun usually get to play on ourselves.. we took the package for 4.. it costs $33 inclusive of gst.. 2 hrs of games, one drink per pax n one complimentary snack came tog in dis package..
the snack was kinda pathetic cos each of us oni can eat 2 pcs of onion rings.. celine n liting ordered a glass of purple dinosaur.. the name sounds funky but its actualli blueberry frizz.. haha.. mi n nona drank healthy orange juice.. hehe..
so this was the 1st game we played there.. tink the name of this game is known as the trans america.. each of us supposed to draw 5 cards of diff colors.. the card states the name of the cities and we r supposed to locate them on this map.. the objective is to build railway tracks tt link up all the 5 cities.. the one hu completes 1st wins.. i thot it was a boring game.. haha
i tink the rest felt the same cos we requested for a chg of game after 1 rd.. next game tt we played is known as jungle speed.. this is a v complex game.. i thot it was mind taxing to play it.. so i din enjoy as well.. haha.. the objective is to test our speed of reaction.. i guess i m juz too slow for this game.. haha
one last game tt we played at settlers was this colorful looking board.. each person choose a color n take all the diff sizes n shapes of bricks tt is of tt color chosen.. den we r supposed to tk turns to place a pc on the board.. objective is to spread out ur own territory as far as possible and block opponents frm invading.. mine is yellow.. seem to b taking up quite alot of spaces on the board rite.. but i din win cos no moves alr.. muahaha..
few more shots b4 leaving the cafe.. we took them while waiting to get into the toilet.. muahaha.. once again presenting mi n nona..
well well.. after all the singing n stressful games.. we r all famished.. went for dinner at this katong coffeeshop.. it was celines recommendation.. she said the zi cha there v pop.. alot of ppl eat till the xtent tt u haf to wait for seats if u dun come earli.. mayb cos it was still earli, dats when y we reached, there were alot of empty seats still.. the bad thing abt coffeeshop is tt it isnt air conditioned.. anyway we ordered 5 dishes altog..
we ordered one large hor fun in place of the normal plain white rice.. sumhow this plate doesnt seem lyk a 4 persons share at all isnt it.. but sumhow there was still some leftover.. in my opinion i tink it is normal oni.. i haf eaten nicer hor fun.. no offence celine.. haha
chilli kang kong supposed to b my fave cos its chilli.. haha but the kang kong they served was v salty n its nt spicy enuff.. haha.. failed to meet my expectations again.. had some vege stems leftover also..
den we also ordered this prawn fritters.. this is nice.. hot n crispy.. tastes beta when dipped with the honey sauce.. hehe
liting wanted sweet n sour fish so we ordered tt too.. this dish is nt too bad ba.. oni complain is tt the fish is too small.. 
the last dish is fried baby squids.. i tink dis taste the best among the rest.. dun b decieved by the appearance.. it looks damp n soggy but in actual fact its v crispy n crunchy.. hehe.. but its super bad for my complexion as well as for my throat.. cos its deep fried!
after dinner.. liting left on her own.. she had to make her way to town to collect her hp.. she sent it there for repair n shes oni free ytd to collect since she had to work on wkdays.. as for the 3 of us, we walked to parkway parade to gt the polaroid developed.. initially thot can gt it immeditely but tt person said instant muz pay $3 for each photo developed rather than the normal $2.. its ex so we decided to leave it to celine to collect it today lor.. shall meet up sumtime nxt wk to collect frm her the polaroid..
couldnt resist the temptation to eat the ice cream frm scoopz.. i tell u the durian flavor ice cream there is oishii de lor.. muz try if u all haf the chance.. according to celine or rather the poster at the ice cream palour.. the ice creams are all made frm real natural fruits.. so its v low in fat n sugar.. absolutely no artificial coloring.. haha but i will still feel guilty if i eat one whole cone myself.. in the end, 3 of us shared one scoop.. muahahaha.. $2.80 for one scoop.. reasonable n affordable neh..
celine recommended the soya beancurd frm the market across.. so i dabao 2 boxes hm for my mum n grandma.. bought one normal de n one wif white ginko nuts.. after eating, i still prefer the stall near my grandma hse tt i always frequent.. no offence again celine =X i guess our tastes realli differ.. haha
yeap.. after tt we parted our ways.. wonder how long more b4 we will meet again.. till then, take care my beloved pals! =D
