the dinner juz now was disappointing i would say.. was anticipating it since thurs nite.. but it definately wasnt up to my expectation.. hmmm the wedding dinner was held at grassroots club at yio chu kang.. frm wat i haf studied in clubs n resorts last sem, my impression of clubs are those tt are very grand and luxury..

well, i guess i was wrong.. my bro drove us to the main entrance.. he din join us cos he had some bbq on.. anyway after i alighted frm his car, i was scanning thru the supposedly high end club ahead of mi.. the first thing tt came to my mind was tt the place resembles more lyk a CC lor.. Zzzz..

even the signboard at the main entrance seems so unprofessional.. doesnt this looks more lyk wat u see outside safra? haha..


my mum, my bro n i walked in, met my da jiu, da jiu mu, yi ma n yi zhang at the lobby.. there were mani ppl waiting for the main lift.. so my yi zhang led the way to the lift at the corner.. obviously we din knoe tt we will end up gg into the restaurant from the back kitchen.. tts so paiseh.. wateva.. one auntie whom i duno how she is related to mi, spotted us and greeted my yi ma n my mum.. the brides sista chked her name list and found us our table..

b4 we were even seated, the waiter came n asked wat drinks we wanted.. he is so irritating cos he kept asking when we werent even settled down yet.. 2 of the waiter who served my table was from china.. their accent was so strong tt one could tell immediately.. ha.. one is short while the other one very tall.. but yes both also nt handsome.. Zzzz..

scanned thru the place after i was seated.. alot of elderlys.. could hardly see any youngsters lyk mi.. so disappointing isnt it? haha thot can meet some cute guys there de lor.. had i knoe earlier tt it would turn out the way it did, i guess i would rather stay at home.. haha..

the dinner was a 9 dish course.. the portions for each dish were rather small.. its lyk everyone at the table could juz haf 1 small serving each.. its pathetic but i tink its normal ah.. haha.. juz tt we were still hungry after the dinner ended =X

1st dish was the "leng pan" which i forgot to take a pic.. theres prawn fritters, prawns wif white mayonnaise, mashed potatoes.. theres this chken bites and mashed crabmeat eggs thingy.. the portion is realli small.. everyone one pc oni.. haha..

2nd dish was the expensive stuff.. shark fins whereby u can realli see the big pcs of fins.. its nt in shreds.. yummy.. but i thot it was kinda unusual cos i thot normalli ppl serve the best last.. haha..


white promfret was the 3rd dish.. wasnt very interested in this.. nevertheless tasted a bit of it.. nt very fresh =X


next up was smth tt i lyk.. roasted piggy.. i love the crispy skins though i knoe its super oily n fattening ah.. but who cares.. can always go on diet after tt.. lol.. yes its a small piggy.. i oni ate 2 pcs of the skin lor.. Zzzzz


the 5th dish gt abalone! but look at the pic.. its less than 10 thin slices lor.. not even enuff for everyone.. as for the mushrms, there were 10 pcs so we each ate 1.. haha.. the vege tts covered by the abalone werent a hit.. there were still some leftovers when the waiter cleared it.. haha


the 6th dish was scallops with broccolis.. the portions of the scallops were reasonable.. at least i managed to eat 3 pcs of tt.. haha..



the 7th dish was herbal prawns.. looked appealing but i din eat a single of these.. cos i hated herbal stuff plus prawns are harmful toxic to my face.. haha



2nd last dish was the ee mian.. nth special abt this dish.. haha.. i juz thot the sequence v weird.. thot after leng pan, it would b more apppriate to serve this ee mian first.. wateva..


last but not least, there was the dessert.. dun realli knoe wat it was.. but i thot i tasted smth lyk yam and almond.. KNS i hate the xin ren wei dao lor.. it always leaves mi with a nauseous feeling.. so i din lyk the dessert.. the color and the presentation of it alr doesnt look appetizing.. Zzzz..


overall my dining experience there was horrifying.. haha cos thru out the dinner, the restaurant was filled with NOISE.. take note tt i used the word "noise" here!! apparently the host invited a few teochew n hokkien singers to entertain the crowd during the dinner.. these artistes included ppl lyk the spore version of chen lei, the mingzhu jie mei, liang jia bans ah nan.. u muz b wonderin who the hell they are rite? i din noe hu they are either.. its ok cos they belonged to the older generation =p

anyway b4 the dinner, i was slacking at home the whole day.. din touch any books at all even though i was supposed to b rushing for my hr proj.. instead i was playing wif nail polish.. i seriously tink i suck in art.. haha take a look at my nails.. painted for a few hrs by myself.. zzz

i wore boots tt day.. yes i knoe my bottom looks v black.. haha.. my mummy la.. ask mi wear this skirt instead of my demin cos she say this flare skirt more appropriate for the occasion.. haha

reached home ard midnite.. was appearing offline in msn.. apple wasnt online either.. anyway at abt 130am, i decided to go online.. wat a coincidence.. juz after i chged my status, apple signed in too.. haha.. but the weird thing was he logged out abt 15 mins ltr.. wonder y.. but ya we still haven been talking to each other yet.. wateva.. feeling jue wang le la.. Zzzzz
