Juz rebonded my hair today.. spent a long 5 hrs at the salon below my grandma hse.. tt hairstylist jesslyn is the owner of the salon.. she used to be the oni one tending the salon but when I went, there was another china lady there.. frm the way jesslyn asked her to do things, I guessed she was quite new still.. she oni helped in odd jobs lyk pouring tea for the customers, getting chemicals, washing and blowing dry customers hair.. she wasnt qualified to hold the scissors yet so customers will haf to wait cos jesslyn could oni attend to one person at a time..
I reached there at abt 2pm.. but I waited till abt 220pm b4 jesslyn actually helped mi to cut my hair.. chemicals n more chemicals.. waitin n more waitin.. finalli my hair was ready to be ironed at 4pm.. initially jesslyn asked tt china lady to straighten the sides while she straighten the back for mi.. I was quite worried abt my hair cos she doesnt seem to have any experience at all.. I dun wana be the guinea pig for her to learn cos I definitely love my hair a lot! Haha.. din wanna take any risk but I decided to be nice.. afterall its nt very nice to ask her to back off.. its gonna be v awkward.. so I gave her a chance to try to prove mi wrong.. haha..
needless to say, she disappointed mi la.. she tried ironing the sides a few times.. she din do it correctly so my hair was spoilt.. jesslyn had to salvage by redoing it.. I told myself tts it ah.. I did nt pay them to ruin my hair de so I made a request.. I oni wan jesslyn to touch my hair.. haha.. tink they understand also ah.. I doing a gd deed here hor cos I could see tt de china lady was kinda relieved.. haha..
anyway by the time I was done, it was nearly 7pm liao.. they din accept nets & I din haf so much cash on mi.. plus it was pourin cats n dogs and as usual, I din bring an umbrella.. those with knowledge will knoe tt after rebondin, hair cannot be in contact with any water.. so I couldnt go n draw money frm the atm.. I thot of going up to my grandma hse and borrow money frm my 1st aunt first..
anyway the point tt I am tryin to make here is my 1st aunt dotes on mi a lot ah.. she din wan mi to return the money to her.. on top of tt, her husband even gave mi another 50 bucks to spend lor..sooo nice ya? Hmmm.. perhaps bcos I m the oni gal in the family frm my mothers side ba.. I usually get princess kind of treatment frm all my other aunts and uncles too.. hehe.. jealous of mi? u dun haf to be cos believe mi I m lonely.. tts y I envy ppl lyk leen hu has sista, biao jie n biao mei..they can hang out tog, go shopping, haf fun and confide in each other.. the fortunate thing is I have quite a number of frens who are lyk sistas to mii.. so i guess i shld be contented wif tt =)
i stayed at grandma hse till abt 10pm for my aunt to send mi home.. so i oni went online at ard 1115pm after bathing etc.. he was online and he msn mi shortly after i signed in..
him: "ello"
him: "nv go out?"
mii: "arlo.. juz came back oni"
mii: "u?"
him: "same.. bored.."
i haf a hunch tt he was gonna bring up the massage topic again so i purposely dun wana ask him wat he was doing or y bored.. i diverted his attention by showing him a pic of my new rebonded hair.. bla n bla.. den he asked..
him: "how cum ur fren still workin at nera ah?"
i knew he was referring to angel.. i guess he din noe tt mi n angel nt frm the same sch n we din noe each other b4hand de.. haha apparently ppl lyk bob thot we knew each other b4 comin to nera.. so i tink he was confused at how cum i need to go back to sch while angel dun.. haha
mii: "she graduated alr.. haha"
him: "oh.."
mii: "yeap.. y did u ask?"
him: "juz wondering.."
him: "so i will nv get my massage even tho u were bragging tt u were gd?"
damn.. i knew this was coming.. but i din noe how to handle him.. decided to look for some help.. called angel immediately but she was slping.. i woke her up aft 3 cls.. felt so paiseh so i asked her to go back to slp n hung up the phone.. called celine n asked for some advise on how to reply.. no conclusion so i depended on myself.. zzzz.. juz replied wateva tt came to my mind and wateva tt i felt was appropriate..
mii: "weiiiiiiiiiiiii.. u r so bad lor.. how can u say tt i m braggin.. haha"
him: "haha.. nt brag lah"
mii: "bleahz"
him: "=D"
mii: "u always ask ppl to gib u massage de ah?"
him: "no.. oni when they say they r good.. haha"
mii: "haha.. den can i take back my words?"
mii: "i dun wish to disappoint u.."
him: "but i m a sucker for massages anyway"
well.. pauses.. i was thinking of how to ans.. finalli decided to chg topic again.. haha
mii: "u gt friendster?" (i knew he has n i even went to look at his profile a couple of times alr.. his status was in a relationship n there was a pic of him n a gal)
him: "yeah.. but i nv go in anymore"
him: "its nt updated or anyting"

he told mi de add n i went in to look again ahz.. he told mi he din haf a gf ma so i had to pretend to be shock when i see the pic of him n a gal..
mii: "u gt a gf.."
him: "u tink i will be home now if i haf a gf?"
din bother to argue wif him on tt although i did nt agree.. it was alr midnite lor.. gt gf means muz go home in the mornin lyk 2 or 3am meh.. haha..i went on to read his testimonials and i commented n asked him on stuff tt his frens wrote ah.. discovered a few more things abt him.. he used to b a monitor in pri sch.. he went to germany to study for a yr plus.. he lyks cooking n his best dishes are curry, chicken rice and sweet & sour pork!
mii: "no wonder u so angmoh speaking..haha"
him: "in fact, my eng gt worse man.."
mii: "haha.. cos u spoke german there ah?"
him: "yeah.."
mii: "shld b quite fun.. shld haf teach mi ma.."
this point in time he changed his status frm online to away..
him: "u also dun wanna gimme massage =("
mii: "haha.. i nv say dun wan ma.." (massage is fine with mi, the thing is i need to be certain tt all he wans is purely massage n nth else)
3 mins passed...
him: "u keep rejecting mi.. wat abt now?"
i seriously duno how lor.. more pauses.. thinking of whether to go or nt.. zzzzz after 10 mins, seeing tt i still haven replied.. he put a qn mark n he asked if i had fallen aslp..
mii: "haven.."
him: "so nt giving mi massage rite?"
celine kept urging mi to ask.. so after being given the push and after giving it some thot also, i made a decision..so i said..
mii: "unless my doubts r cleared.."
him: "wat doubts?"
obviously i paused summore cos i was tryin to brainstorm of how to phrase the qn n how 2 ask so tt it wasnt so obvious.. u cant possibly ask mi to qn him directly whether S** is his ultimate motive of coaxing mi to his hse or he purely juz wan a relaxing massage ma.. so i came up with this..
mii: "ermm.."
mii: "how do u feel towards mii?"
he din answer my qn.. i had no idea whether he was realli nt ard or he was simply avoiding.. he wasnt the kind hu leaves his laptop on when he goes to slp de.. he normalli shuts down b4 gg to bed.. it was abt 3 plus in the morning when i shut down my laptop.. he was still away.. i realli regretted askin cos i feel damn awkward.. i wished i nv asked.. awwww.. no ans frm him meant tt the ans was obviously negative? i hate to guess.. nt in the right mind to tink rationally anymore either.. wateva.. i m sad.. real sad =/
